2025 Curriculum Catalogue

  • Establish a solid foundation in drawing with a focus on line, form, light, and shadow. Through structured exercises and observational drawing, students will develop confidence in their technical skills and understanding of visual composition.

  • Discover the versatility of acrylics while learning techniques for color mixing, layering, and creating texture. Students will work on still life and abstract compositions, developing both technical skill and personal style.

  • Refine your drawing skills by working with complex still life setups. Emphasis will be placed on shading, perspective, and accurately rendering form and texture.

  • Learn the unique techniques of watercolor, including washes, layering, and color blending. Students will create expressive compositions while mastering light and shadow.

  • Focus on the anatomy and structure of the face. Students will practice detailed studies of facial features and create full portraits that convey emotion and depth.

  • Explore the methods used to build up layers of color and texture through techniques like glazing, scumbling, and impasto. Students will complete complex still life, landscape and portrait paintings with dynamic light and texture.

  • Advanced course focused on anatomy, gesture, and classical figure drawing techniques. Students will study master works and work from live models to refine their figure drawing skills.
